I think its much better gameplay than FIFA 07 but its only downfall is the team and cup names. I think master League is the best thing any football game has to offer. pes is obviously the best footy game around.

Good game but I don't feel there is much of an improvement on the previous version.

Fantastic game in every way apart from graphics which need to improve.

A superb addition to the pes series the campaign mode lets it down.

I really wanted to love this game, but the painful load times, the stupid player intelligence and the trickiness of attacking and defending make it aggravating to play and at times, not a lot of fun at all.

OK, its slow loading times, but put it on your mem stick and it flies with no waiting. Gameplay is so much better than FIFA 07 and option files are available to update leagues/teams.

Much improved gameplay from previous version but slow downs when crosses are made brings the score down.

It's by no means perfect, but PES6 is the best footie game on PSP and is essential for fans of the series. [Christmas 2006, p.88]
  2. If you've been suffering with the last version in whatever form, success will be a lot sweeter for it, too.
  3. A solid – often brilliant – simulation, which for some may prove a little too realistic for its own good.
