    This game is absolutely amazing! This is the first wipeout I have ever played and I have to say, it's the best psp racing game and one of the best psp games of all time, period. The controls are fantastic and the game modes are fun! Every single game mode is a blast. There's races, time trials, speed laps, and my favorite, Zone. Zone is a mode of survival where your vehicle goes faster and faster and you are forced to maneuver through the track at break neck speeds. Very fun! The graphics are fantastic by the way. It actual feels like you are in a futuristic city that is alive! There are also pick ups in races kind of like Mario Kart. When great graphics, great controls, fun game types, many events, a futuristic feel, and mario kart like racing come together, you get an amazing game, especially for a handheld! This review may be late and the game may be several years old, but none the less, it's a great game and a great reason to own a psp.… Expand

    I would give this game a 9.5 if there was the option (you can only choose whole numbers). The eliminator mode is totally fun and the grid single player campaign does an excellent job of mixing up the relatively linear style of the single player campaign in previous Wipeout games. I keep coming back to this game. Definitely a great game and a great value for your $.

    This game is absolutely fantastic. They took everything from the previous WipEout game on PSP and piled on better tracks, better music, and more FUN. Fans of the series would do themselves a disservice to not own this game.

    This is the best wipeout game ever. It has anything you want from a wipeout game plus an awesome online mode. I waited for this for sooo long time! If you don't know wipeout, this game is for you! If you're a fan, well, this game's for you, too!

    As you race you feel like you are the craft and also you feel your body react like you would if you where in the vehicle.

    This is the best Wipeout game since Wip3out on the PS1. Welcome back the achievable perfect lap. Tracks aren't as impossibly winding as Wipeout Pure, and the handling isn't all "drift-like" like Wipeout Fusion. Brand new campaign layout encourages you to experience all the different competition styles Wipeout can offer. And of course, it wouldn't be Wipeout without the mesmerising speed and thumping soundtracks. Easily the best game I have played on the PSP.… Expand

    Best game for the PSP so far: Graphics, Sound, Gameplay - all in perfection, setting a new standard on Sonys Handheld.

    Don't listen to the negative reviews! Wipeout Pulse is superior to Pure in every way! The graphics are spectacular, the presentation is much better, the music sounds great, the all new tracks are interesting, fun and challenging, and new editions like online mulitplayer are a lot of fun. The singleplayer tournaments are in greater abundance than Pure and are nicely organized into "grid" sections, and with the promise of downloadable content (nothing is available yet, for some reason), it looks like there will be A LOT more racing to do! Multiplayer on the technical side works and plays pretty well and is a lot of fun, and races are highly customizable. Wipeout Pulse has to be one of, if not my most favorite PSP game of all time! A MUST HAVE!… Expand
