    The Wii U version of Capcom's Chronicles of Mystara works better than the one on PS3 or Xbox 360 due to the Nintendo's GamePad. Playing the game on the Wii U controller is fun and addictive and the old pixelated graphics look perfect on the GamePad's screen.

    Iron Galaxy may have run into some trouble porting Chronicles of Mystara to the Wii U, but it certainly doesn’t show in the final product. This is a title not to be missed.

    Chronicles of Mystara is a great collection: Iron Galaxy added a lot of options, online multiplayer and HD visuals to the original games. Unfortunately the endless lives goes against the games' soul; at least in this field, they should have altered the original.

    Chronicles of Mystara isn’t anything revolutionary. More than anything else, it represents the final evolution of a dying arcade genre from the era directly before that genre ceased to be relevant.

    This is one of the best implementation of Drop-in-Drop-out local multiplayer, and the addition of online multiplayer makes it one of the best online games for the Wii U right now. It's a standard old school beat'em-ups with a basic choice system so you can choose which area you'll go to next. The additional content involves mostly unlockables for a "house mode" setting, and collected treasure to encourage you to find everything.
