At its core, it's FIFA 13 on Wii U is FIFA 12 from last year. You should probably wait for next season.

This is by far the most feature-packed and enjoyable game in the FIFA series to hit a Nintendo console. It's not the best version out there, but it's a good start to the series on the Wii U all the same.

Fifa 13 on Wii U is just Fifa 12 with less game modes, a poor online mode and some new GamePad features. It's a shame that most of them are pretty bland, if not useless at all.

FIFA 13 Wii U is a porting of FIFA 12 with some new functionality for the gamepad. But has also a lot of deficiencies, particularly on multiplayer. No Ultimate Team, no Football Club and no skill games. If you have a PS3 or a 360, you have to spend your money for them.

FIFA 13 for Wii U is a fine simulation of the world's favourite sport. In footballing circles, the only game that beats it is its own sequel, which is already out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and also happens to be called FIFA 13. The chances are that if you're really into football games, you've been playing FIFA on one of the other home formats for a while and will have played this edition of the game to death already. If you aren't, then you'll have no interest in FIFA 13 anyway. That makes us wonder exactly who EA was targeting when it drew up the plans for this one.

There's no Ultimate Team in FIFA 13 for Wii U, no "first touch" control, and the Player Impact Engine is the same as FIFA 12. Despite this, and thanks to the features developed exclusively for the GamePad, FIFA 13 Wii U remains a solid football game.

Not only is this is very clearly FIFA 12, not 13, but it's not even a very good version of last year's game – with missing features, pointless additions, and flawed visuals.

FIFA Soccer 13 for Wii U isn't the worst version of this year's popular soccer game, but it's certainly below standards for most modern console owners.

If you have one of the other console versions, I could not really recommend this over those, especially considering the vastly different price point. A nice effort, but it hits the post on this occasion.

Fifa 13 on the Wii U is a fine game of soccer with enough teams, competitions and modes to keep you busy for months. It is, however, an inferior version compared to Fifa 13 on other platforms. Important modes like Match Day and Ultimate Team are missing and the Manager Mode has been downgraded. The game has a stuttering framerate from time to time and the GamePad doesn't provide any unique features.

Like short-term Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez, the Wii U version of FIFA feels like an interim edition, warming the seat for next year's release.

FIFA 13 Wii U is not really FIFA 13. When you think twice, this episode is closer to FIFA 12 which is not a pleasant idea to convey for the future of Nintendo's new console. Many features have simply disappeared and the gameplay options proposed by the use of GamePad are not so groundbreaking.

My last review was deleted so I won't get into all of the details. Let's just say EA is again screwing Nintendo fans. Get the 360 or PS3 version. Maybe next year the Wii U will get the same treatment. Full Review »

In order to play the game you're going to have to have your nose pointed at the touch screen at all times. Their is really no point to the HD TV even being connected up for this one. The prospect of being able to use the Tablet instead of the TV is a good use of the tablet. But this game uses your TV for others to watch you play. If you're a die hard sports fan who must having a soccer fix then you might enjoy this, but as a game it's a horrible waste. If you're going to force me to look at the tablet all the time you might as well make the graphics on the TV a bit more interesting for spectators. Full Review »

On par with FIFA 13 and maybe even better - has refined impact engine, tactical defending and NOT that frustrating first touch control.
Fully loaded with all offline game modes, including authentic teams and stadiums which look amazing in HD. GamePad adds cool new features - I love being able to make subs in Online without pausing the game - best idea ever!
