With Smash Bros. for Wii U, Nintendo offers a meticulous and generous game, technically stunning and with an indestructible replay value, whether playing alone or with friends, in local or online multiplayer. If entertainment is a science, Smash Bros. for Wii U deserves the Nobel.

Some thirteen years after Melee’s release, Nintendo has finally formulated an experience which compares appreciably to the masterpiece that we all love (and many of us still play). Whether for fun or for glory, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is the follow-up Smash fans have been anticipating since.

The core mechanic from the original game is still there, but it feels more refined and polished than before. Though the amiibo integration feels like an after-thought it's still a fun party game to play with your friends.

I'm also addicted to collecting all the bonus content. and their is a TON of unlockable bonuses from the huge amount of trophies, equipment & special moves to customise characters, and over 700 songs. that is huge! i can say without a doubt this is the best video game soundtrack ever assembled.as for customising characters, its pretty fun to colect better moves for a character, and to specialize their atributes. and also you can make a mii fighter, swordsman, or gunner. i love making mii's for characters that aren't in the game like batman, luke skywaker, ken and ryu, ect. the only mode that sucks is smash tour. but thats not even remotely enough to spoil the game for me. overall smash brothers is a video game for everyone who has ever loved a video game. Smash bros has never looked so good, this is even the best looking Wii U game to date. I still can't believe at how smooth it runs as well, always staying at 60fps. The character roster is easily the best to date with brand new fan favorites like Megaman and Pacman, with also some more obscure ones, that just fit so well like, Wii Fit Trainer and Duck hunt dog. This is my favorite game one the Wii U and a solid GOTY contender. Expand

It improves upon the aspects people loved from Melee and got rid of the things people hate from Brawl, Like Tripping or the Physics. This time they keep the game-play tight and responsive, but still fun and accessible for beginners or young ones.
With the addition of 8 Player smash as well, you and lots of friends can duel it out and have tournaments.
The Roster to pick from is sizable and has a few characters you wouldn't expect, But by the time I had them all unlocked I still felt like it needed more. With the separation of Characters like Zelda/Sheik Or Samus/Zero Suit Samus it has filled out the roster a bit more then usual.
Now you can also play the slightly more traditional Single Player with Two players (Similar to Brawl). Witch is nice for a fun Co-op Experience.
All in all if you have played any Super Smash Bro's game you will have tons of fun playing this one and if you own a Wii-U or a 3DS this is a must buy and could be my GOTY for the Wii-U.

Nowhere near as much content as Brawl so this is a step backwards. Very disappointed... Expand
