A very well deserved homecoming for Yoshi, after many years trapped in a piece of amber. Far from making a standard platforming game, Good-Feel has made a beautiful game that surprises you with every step.

Yoshi's Woolly World is a real surprise: a great platform game that requires some serious skills and dedication, with fantastic graphics and lots of content.

A game that conquers you through the eyes, but it's when you play it when it convinces. As fascinating being watched as played and whose mistakes are in no way decisive.

Yoshi's Woolly World is a great platform game, with clever level design but few really intriguing new ideas. Nonetheless with its challenging gameplay and lots of personality, it's the best Yoshi game since Yoshi's Island on the SNES.

Like its little brother Yoshi's New Island on 3DS, Yoshi's Woolly World suffers from being a little too short, easy and somehow forgettable. That being said, this game could easily win the hearts of every Nintendo fan with its above-average level design, the great artistic direction, and its exhilarating cuteness.

Outside of those great few levels, Woolly World is a more forgettable and fragmented experience. Cool mechanics are cooked up, but they’re dropped into levels which never realise their full potential and fixate more on unearthing frustrating collectibles.

Finding hidden items is technically an optional side-quest, but paradoxically, it's also the game's only real challenge.

It drops the annoying baby gimmick and has a nice esculation in difficulty as you move on. Don't expect tropical freeze difficultly as the challange in this game lies in getting 100%. It is easily the best yoshi game since the original yoshi's island. Expand

Iwata got to make his last video game... and if this is what you leave...?

I am retiring this account as well. For respect of Mr. Iwata. May you drive on Rainbow Road! :')

What can I say? I have mixed feelings about it.

Graphix look very nice ... HD Textures and that Yarn looks awesome,
but I rather prefered a Yoshi Game with more Mature Looks. Its
just a Personal Opinion of mine.

Gameplay is decent. First 4 Worlds are really easy ,maybe too easy.
I get it that Nintendo also want to reach to younger Audience, but
why dont include 1.easy mode like this one and one Hard Mode for us
    "Donkey Kong Level" Player?

The only thing that makes the game difficult is to find all collectables in the levels.
I had to play alot of levels over and over again to reach that 100%

Nice Try from Nintendo , but there is a feeling in the Air that they dont care much
for the WIIU and waiting with the big games for NX...
