  1. The lanes are nice and shiny, but "Wii Sports" is still our top banana for Wii Bowling. [June 2008, p.71]
  2. Essentially, you're paying 20 quid for something far inferior to "Wii Sports." [June 2008, p.80]

This game is an absolute dud: it plays poorly, it lacks all sorts of important features, and it doesn't come anywhere near the same quality as what Nintendo already includes as standard issue with every single system in North America.
  4. AMF Bowling Pinbusters is like Wii Sports bowling only several thousand times less good. The game mechanics are awful and the presentation is a disgrace.
  5. AMF Bowling: Pinbusters is nothing more than a well packaged mobile phone game. It is short, poorly executed, unbearably lazy and has no place in anyone's collection.

I remember what the game said on the back. "Characters with their unique personalities." Thats it? Thats all you got? They aren't even FUNNY! It's a bowling game, c'mon now! The gameplay is literally inferior to the WII Sports version, and the graphics kind of creep me out, I don't know why, they just do. And a poor performance and NO storyline or online play. I honestly can't think of any positives for such a game. Collapse

I bought a used Wii from some kid a couple years back, and wondered why he would sell a Wii. He stated his reason as "I never play it any more." Well I don't blame him! He had the kiddy Mario Super Sluggers game, the frunstratingly dull Wii Music, and this piece of junk. I almost wanted to give it back to him along with a list of good Wii games. Because there actually more than most people realize. Hear that? There ARE good Wii games, if you can look past games like this. The characters are based off of horrible stereotypes increased sevenfold, and the variety of lanes change the visuals, some are pretty nice, but change nothing about the gameplay...and the gameplay is exactly like Wii Sports bowling, only it doesn't work well. So check out the list of high-scoring Wii games on Metacritic. I'll be at home playing Super Mario Galaxy 2. Expand
