Gamers take control of Ben and his new alien forms Swampfire, Jet Ray, Humungousaur, Spidermonkey and Big Chill to employ distinctly different and complex powers to manipulate fire, swim underwater, grow more than 60 feet tall, stick to walls, fly at mach speed, plus lots more. Gamers also harness cousin Gwen's new talent to create an energy shield and use it to protect and attack, as well as Kevin Levin's ability to absorb materials like concrete, wood and metal to create an impenetrable shell on his body. Alien Force is a fast-paced, 3D side-scrolling action adventure that offers eight playable characters, an unlimited combo system and puzzles and challenges that engage players of all levels for hours at a time. The Nintendo DS version offer alternate playable alien forms including Goop and Echo Echo, giving players additional unique powers to command and explore. [D3Publisher of America] Expand

  1. When all is said and done, you have to look at Ben 10: Alien Force for what it is – an experience outside of the show. In that area it excels in so many ways. However, there are too many complaints to say that you will have the same awesome experience that Ben and company have when fighting aliens.
  2. Well, I was hoping for something a bit more in line with the show, and while you are playing as Ben, Gwen and Kevin, the game makes sure to take most of the fun out of it.
  3. Technical and gameplay flaws deny this title the chance to entertain. Despite the idea of playing with a friend might be interesting, this game doesn’t make the most of the Wii unique features.
  4. Love Ben 10? Buy anything with his face on? Well then you don't need our opinion do you? [Mar 2009, p.79]
  5. "Lazy" is also how I'd sum up my feelings toward Ben 10: Alien Force for the Wii. Sure, it's a kid's licensed game, and I think at this point that most of us know not to expect a whole lot out of it. However, that's still a pretty lame excuse for not trying to do something with the given license.

There's just nothing to Ben 10: Alien Force that's worth taking a look at. Everything about the game is entirely uninspired, from the bland visuals and awkward physics to the sleep-inducing music.

This is a very fun game as the characters are based on the movie. It is also quite interesting.

Some of the controls are clunky, and a lot of interactions are repetitive. This is a good theme that is inspired off of the show though. If you're a fan of Ben, this might be the game for you. Expand
