50When Big Beach Sports first arrived I smelled mediocrity a mile off - the worst trait for a reviewer.
-
60With average graphics, upbeat music, and motion sensitive control that can be somewhat fun, this game is really what you make it.
-
40Given that the game only allows the use of the Wii-mote, playing a good old game of football seems a hard concept to imitate. Needless to say, this sport is ridiculously unsatisfying.
-
50There simply isn't enough to do, outside of competing with friends (up to four at once) and playing through tournaments for unacceptable rewards.
-
Extremely basic and only six sports, but no other compilation has this selection of events. [Sept 2008, p.79]
-
45The production values and overall presentation certainly fit this cut-rate title, and you'll soon get bored if you're playing alone.
-
40This is a game that had potential, but that potential was not fully realized. The game is not terrible, especially in a multiplayer setting, but it just fails to connect in a truly long-lasting entertaining way.
-
25A true cash-in project that ignores some of the great control fundamentals laid down with Nintendo's game for an unintelligent waggle-and-win design.
-
40Yet another party game for the Wii. You'll get to take part in sports like frisbee golf, cricket, volleyball, soccer and American football. Precious few of these are any fun, and the overall experience lacks the polish you expect from a retail game. Steer clear of this one folks.
-
Six simple sporting events that will provide some fun for the summer. [Issue#24, p.76]
-
Don't expect anything taxing but there's just enough content to make this a worthwhile multiplayer title for the younger gamer. [Aug 2008, p.62]
-
What a stinker. [Aug 2008, p.101]
-
20As satisfying as a sand-ridden shoe, without the fortunate side effect of having gotten some fresh air. Take a ball to the local seaside shingle instead.
-
40A cheap shoddy cash in.
-
20This videogame tries to be successful by copying something already established, but the result is something dull, with very little reasons to exist.
-
60As it is Big Beach Sports will provide some fairly limited, short term fun, but when available for less than £20 maybe that's not such a bad thing.
-
The truth is that Big Beach Sports manages to do a couple of things passably while doing absolutely nothing right. While the title boasts a solid lineup of events that really ought to be fun to play, there is simply no fun to be had with this game.

Fire0This game is not good at all. I sold my Wii because of this.
