  1. A licensed game that manages to work on its own terms, but only just pulls it off. [Oct 2012, p.97]

The motion-controlled melee combat is flawed, so the most effective way to defeat baddies is by playing the game like a twin-stick shooter---albeit a twin-stick shooter with sometimes-temperamental auto-aim. [July 2012, p.82]

The main problem though, whether Brave's being played solo or through co-op, is the game just isn't all that deep.
