  1. Different from the American distributor, Taito knows how to raise the value of its WiiWae titles: knowing the original NES version may be bought by 500 Nintendo Points, they have launches Plus! with double stages, multiplayer, new items, enemies and songs, besides the better graphs, chart of points and a collectible catalogue for only 100 additional points.

Bubble Bobble Plus!, with its great music, tons of content and multiplayer, finally has pulled WiiWare out of the slump it's been in.
  3. A decent return to form for a classic series that manages to combine the old with the new delivering an enjoyable experience for everyone that is entertaining on almost every level.
  4. On the surface Bubble Bobble Plus! looks like a simple remake of the original arcade game, but a ton of new levels and a few new gameplay elements make it a far superior experience, which is worth buying even if you already bought the NES game.
  5. The classic gets some well implemented new features that extend but don't overwhelm the original.

This one's a great option all around, Bobbleheads. Surf over to the Wii Shop now.
  7. Bubble Bobble Plus is to be considered a true masterpiece. With only eight euro download you con get on your Wii a timeless classic, renovated in two versions, and an extra title, also in two versions. The opportunity to play with four friends, web ranking and excellent design make the title Taito, distributed in Europe by Square-Enix, a classic that should not miss in your collection. A complete game that can be further enriched by extra mode, at a cost of two euro, called Delirio and good for more skillful players.
  8. Much better value than the straight NES port. [June 2009, p.88]
  9. Bubble Bobble Plus is a decent update, but the 23-year-old is still the better game. [Summer 2009]
  10. Bubble Bobble Plus would be the ultimate Bubble Bobble experience, were it not marred by the lack of any kind of save or password feature. It's enjoyable, no doubt, until you realize that you have to start at stage 1 every time you start it up.
  11. While the gameplay at its core remain faithful enough to the oh so loveable original the presentation is severely flawed. Add some technical issues to the mix and what you get is a product that feels as cheap as it feels soulless.

  1. It's hard to screw up a classic but square has done it well. The jump and re-jump (if thats what they call it these day's) by holding down ze-button does not work the way it used to? I have found myself trapped at the bottom of many pits and some thing this micro and yet so mega shouldn't be over looked. Or maybe my Wii is just broken and I'm the only one having this problem?
