  1. Try it out with some friends and you won't be disappointed. [Nov 2008, p.106]
  2. The addition of a few original dance tracks by artists other than those commissioned by Konami is a welcome touch, and the option to play as a Mii doesn't hurt anything, even if it isn't all that exciting in practice.
  3. The new features breathe some life into the stagnating DDR formula, but so little of it is actually fun that it quickly devolves into plain old DDR with a few gimmicks - the game even calls them gimmicks.

This game is really really good. Don't listen to the crap review CheatCC just gave. The reviewer is ignorant and she makes many claims that are not correct. Konami really outdid themselves this time. Give it a try if you loved HP1. I have HP1 and I absolutely loved it. My only complaint from HP1 is that the KO's could've been a bit better. And HP2's KO's are downright AWESOME!! There's so much to like. Even if you don't like the licensed covers that much this time around (which I do for the most part; some are really well done, others like Makes Me Wonder... not so much), HP1's licenses were really good so if you have HP1, HP2 is truly worthwhile, imho. Some may disagree but I'm really enjoying the game and I'm glad I didn't let some review deter me from getting it. I wanted it so badly and now that I have it, I'm more than pleased. DDRHP2 is awesome. :D Expand

This game is by far the most uninteresting game of the series. In fact it may be in the ranks of worst DANCE game of all time; along with the IN THE GROOVE games. The song selection for this game is very poor, to the point that I pitty any party which hosts this game. A vapid selection of remixed "classics" and a plethora of even more disappointing newly released songs will put a bad taste in any true DDR fan's mouth. If it's a challenging and tournament worthy song you want you are better off getting one of the more pathetic titles like "Cutie Chaser" from Extreme. Anyway, if you're a fan of any of the other DDR games I suggest bypassing this waste and getting one of the DDR Universe for the xbox 360. Expand
