  1. Toy Story Mania provides a fun carnival-like experience filled with plenty of mini-games.
  2. Toy Story Mania! is yet another mini game compilation on the Wii and though the midway style of games are enjoyable at times, the game is far too easy.
  3. The Shooter section is nice and funny, but the other minigames aren't that good.
  4. I played this game by myself and didn't like it. I played it with friends and they didn't like it. I played it with kids, and even they didn't like it (and kids will play anything).
  5. Ultimately, if your kids are in the 7-10 year old range, Toy Story Mania is in their wheelhouse. Savvier gamers will cringe, and the younger set will have too much difficulty with the controls and the objectives. It’s too bad, because with a few adjustments, it could’ve been something much better – and more appealing to everyone in the family.
  6. This October, the world will indeed experience a case of Toy Story mania when the first two films are re-released in theaters in 3D. But unless you're a collector of all things Pixar, Toy Story Mania! is not a game you'll want to own.
  7. This game is terrible. Don't waste your money.
  8. Toy Story Mania! is a solid mini-game collection. There are the original funny characters, the original voices and a really cool atmosphere. Only the missing variety and the bad controls are some drawbacks – but all in all it‘s a solid Nintendo Wii game.

It's not worth it as a standalone game, because though you'll want to like it, you won't. It's just another collection of mini-games.
  10. In conclusion, Disney have a fantastic franchise and it's a shame that they drop the ball every now and then and unfortunately Toy Story Mania! is one of those moments.
  11. A flaccid gallery of joyless minigames. [Winter 2009, p.68]
  12. Fans of the movies, Disney, and carnival-style games will find a lot to like about Toy Story Mania. Its loyalty to the franchise along with its accessible gameplay will make it an endearing addition to the Wii library. Everyone else, however, might feel disenchanted by its repetitive gameplay, problematic motion control, and overall brevity.

Toy Story Mania is a decent home version of the popular Disneyland and Walt Disney World attraction, but ultimately it’s just another lacklustre mini-game compilation for the Wii.
  14. I'd avoid this one even if you're a die-hard fan of the series.
  15. 55
Unfortunately Toy Story Mania squanders its substantial potential through poor design choices and technical issues.

If you liked the ride at Disney California Adventure and Disney's Hollywood Studios, I am sure that you will like this game; however this is probably only good for casual audiences and families and something that a hardcore gamer will probably not want to be caught dead playing. Overall this does have fairly fun games and pretty good graphics, but this could probably only be considered to a quality game to kids who are probably about at the age of 4 to 12. Full Review »

"Disney/Pixar Toy Story Mania" is an okay video game, but it just suffers after playing it a few times. Although its shooting games can entertain youngsters, it feels a bit boring and a tad to useless after a few times. Instead of buying it, enjoy it at Disney California's Adventure, because although its expensive, you can get your moneys worth with the other rides there. Full Review »

Great visuals, great original music, addicting collection of minigames, and a fun game for the whole family! We have two kids, 7 and 9 (boy and girl), and we've been having a blast with Toy Story Mania! I would recommend it for any parent who wants to play a safe, clean game with the kids. Full Review »
