  • Summary: Inspired by the "superhero movie within the movie" finale of Walt Disney Pictures' film "Chicken Little," Disney"s Chicken Little: Ace in Action features Ace, the superhero alter ego of Chicken Little, and the Hollywood versions of his misfit band of friends: Runt, Abby and Fish-Out-of-Water. The crew of the intergalactic Battle Barn faces off against Foxy Loxy and her evil Amazonian sidekick, Goosey Loosey, who have an evil plan to take over Earth. Battle evil alien robots through multiple levels across the solar system and combat your foes in one of three distinct game play modes: Ace on foot as a soldier, Runt as the driver of an armored tank, or Abby as the pilot of a spaceship. The original Chicken Little and his friends Abby, Runt and Fish we know from the film are featured in cut scenes throughout the game. [Buena Vista Games] Expand

An inspired, entertaining action game that remains worthy of your time and cash despite its shortcomings.
  2. Ace in Action will keep kids occupied for a while, but there’s not quite enough to it to hold the interest of older gamers.
  3. It's the definition of basic action, but almost every element works the way it's supposed to. [Jan 2007, p.104]
  4. 70
Ace in Action certainly took its time coming to the Wii but it's still a great game that's highly recommended to kids.
  5. A solid action game that feels a little like Starfox, with different battle types that always amount to you shooting everything that moves. While you can't call it revolutionary, it's got good controls and a sense of humour, so I found myself liking it.
  6. It would be easy to dismiss Ace in Action as yet another lukewarm, movie-licensed cash-in, but it would also be a mistake--there's actually an impressive game here, at least for a little while. [Feb. 2007, p.94]
  7. Older gamers may find themselves getting a little bored, but this is a good action title for young fans of the original film. [Mar 2007, p.63]

A great game for all ages, this is one of the better games for Wii and everyone that plays it will enjoy it. Its kinda like Katamari with a gun.
