  1. While Dragon Blade is not like God of War it does have some similarities, at least in the entertainment areas.
  2. Despite the obviously low-budget development, there are some great ideas and a lot of classic gameplay here, and I would love to see a sequel with much better production values.

While the graphics are rather plain, the sound is quite good. I never got tired of the main adventure theme, and the thunderclap of your magical dragon appendages displacing the air with their glowing energy is the perfect effect.
  4. It’s good to see a developer at least trying to break the mold on the system, but Dragon Blade is far too archaic and bland to appeal to either side of the Wii equation.

Overall a fun experience for Wii users who value entertainment over graphics and gimmickry - it is challenging for those of us not a part of the gaming generation. Expand

A great, well designed and fun game that grows on you the more you play. A great buy at $40 (which I paid for it), and an even better value now at $20 at Amazon.com Expand

Better than the pros will ever rate it, because they value graphics over basic fun. Exclusive to Wii, this fun brawler deserves a place in the Wii library. Expand

This game isn't a mindless hack and slash it's a game where you have to actually think about the moves you make. If you just start attacking you'll get killed pretty fast. The controls do get frustrating especially when you are trying to kill a boss, but if you turn down the sensitivity in the options they work A LOT better. It is mission based and the missions are point A to point B, but there are armor pieces you can find when you look around. This game reminds me a lot of the summoner on the PS2 because the combat and the graphics are a bit similar. Its a pretty good game for the Wii. Expand
