The conclusion left me wanting more and the experience was as smooth as silk. It was addictive, fun, and strikes the perfect balance between an arcade and puzzle game.

Well, it's a major Yes for Nnooo's first real game in a long time. Download this one immediately and enjoy Vektor's escape.

Fantastic. Brilliant visual design, unforgettable music and addictive, challenging gameplay all come together to create what is easily one of the finest experiences WiiWare has ever seen.

EscapeVektor is a good blend of arcade and puzzle elements that converge to create an original concept. Very - almost too - basic, its gameplay can be addictive for the player who likes to return back to the roots of videogaming.

If it weren't for the slow start and zooming-out annoyance, the game would be close to perfect. As it stands, this stacks up with the best of WiiWare, providing a killer audio/visual presentation and pleasurably obsessive good time.
  6. EscapeVektor looks good but lacks charm, and just going up, down, left and right over lines is a little boring. Solid retro gaming, but with a lingering feeling of style over substance.

Does little to stand out, but is deep and rewarding once you get the hang of it. [Nov 2011, p.76]

It takes a few levels to figure out things like the bomb and what everything does but once you are running it is a blast. Some levels get a little long and frustrating when you have start from the beginning but it is rewarding once you pull it off. The retro style of the game is well done even when retro style games have been overdone these days. Well worth the price. Expand
