A painful compilation of bad controls, abysmally stupid enemy AI, and awful graphics. Far Cry Vengeance barely delivers what most people would consider a "finished game".

I think the bad visuals (especially the awful cut scenes) add to the cheesy 80s feel of the game. And it is great fun - best use of the Wii controller outside of Wii Sports that I've seen. Sure, its ugly, but its a satisfyingly stupid game that kept me entertained for several hours here and there. Could've done with a "turn round" button, and throwing a grenade is the same button as fire 2nd weapon, depending on context, so there are issues that need sorting, but the consensus that CoD3 is vastly superior is flawed - this is much less frustrating and much more fun.… Expand

You can try nintendo, but no matter what you say... "You are a kiddie console !" Just as I and almost everyone else thought... The Wii will be like the Gamecube and the N64, as in most of the best games for the system will be nintendo made games. And more adult oriented games from third parties will suck on this system for at least the first year or two. But by that time most companies will be moving away from the Wii, and then it's all kiddie games for the rest of the consoles life. This game doesn't play anywhere nearly as good as the 360 version. I didn't love the 360 version or anything, but it plays a lot better than this. I thought the Wii mote would have been ideal for PC type games as essentially you still have a point and click type of gameplay. But somehow I guess that part of the gameplay got lost somewhere. The Wii mote and games like this could have started to bridge the gap between PC gamers and console gamers, but now PC gamers have something to use when they declare that the PC has the best controls..."AGAIN!"… Expand

Ok people im tired of everyone bashin wii games give it a few monthsand the games will get better trust me right now they are just trying to get the new control scheme down so just give it time and the graphics and game play will get better

Bad graphics, terrible controls, horrible sound! The game looks like a N64 game, the controls are probably the worst I played on the WII by far, if you punch walls they somthings make flesh sounds. Gameplay is ok I guess.

This game is absolutely amazing, the gameplay is sick as all hell, the controls are killer. The only negative thing about this game is the graphics, i gurantee if this game had some better graphics this game would get a solid 8 out of 10! I reccommend this to anyone that loves gameplay or shooter games, but if you like great graphics/visuals......id suggest looking elsewhere! A+ Game.

Just plain awful. It isn't worth one cent or one minute of your time. It's not only the graphics that stink (which everyone agrees on), controls are not much better (which some try to make it out to be). If you have any tendency to get nauseous playing 3D FPS, this game will make you puke your guts out in that respect as well.

A massive let down, some excitment is posed but little. Still not the worste game to be played, controlling isnt to practicle and the game im sur ei had it for ps2 many years back.

This game is absolutely terrible. I just hope people don't think this is the fault of the Wii, but rather Ubisofts fault for releasing a badly ported and terrible game. Shame on them. Call of Duty 3 on the Wii, is another port, and yet it manages to not have the same graphical shortcomings and terrible glitches as this, so honestly, what were ubisoft thinking? Dollar signs, I imagine.

Yes...this game was pretty bad. the controls suck big time and the graphics could have been done on a slightly better N64. However, out of all the consoles the Wii has the most protental. This system is just working out some of the bugs and the developers are just getting used to what people like and what they don't. Why are there so many negative reviews about this game. First of all the Wii is not a Xbox 360 or PS3 so if you want flashy graphics look elsewhere. most of the complaints seem to be in this department and it is hardly a firm basis for judging a game. Yes the colors are a bit washed out and the textures not superb, the video sequences suffer from vsync issues and there are a few sound and ai glitches. These are minor faults and do not alter the fact this is still a good game, the controls alone make this worth getting even if you have played the Xbox version. If only more people actually played this instead of just judging it by what they see.… Expand

Farcry, Well, what can I say? Brill, brill, brill... The longer levels, the great gameplay and a hint of puzzle involved makes this game a definite win win situation for the buyer. There are some glitches, more than most games, and also some things that could definite be improved but overall a excellent game for shoot'em'up styles and adventure games

If I had to pick a word to describe this game, it would be... "Dreadful". Really. What are the main things we expect from Far Cry? Gorgeous environments? Excellent AI? Well you won't find either of those things here. Look at the ground about 10 metres away. Its just green. Walk forward. 2 metres away, it renders some foliage. Try driving a vehicle. If you can live with 10fps, you9;re a better man than me. The AI is *wait till you get close then shoot badly, repeating uncomprehendable phrases*. Redeeming features: Some of the feral powers are cool, but not really new. Environments are pretty big. So yeah, mostly awful.… Expand

I like this game as well i thinks its fun and cool and why do the graphics matter as long as you like it. Personally i don't think they are that bad i have seen worse.

Very smooth better than red steel and call of duty 3 which r a bit slow moving and aiming can't wait 2 see what they will do next with Farcry.

I'm very disappointed. I already posted about how it complains and stops game play when I sit a certain distance from the screen. This is the 1st game to do this and I have quite a few. Also the graphics are quite poor and frame rate is jumpy at times. Cut scenes are extremely low quality. AI is laughable to the point where you can sometimes shoot one enemy and his buddies just stand around and don't even notice. Zelda is a beautiful game that shows what the Wii is capable of. Far Cry looks just like a bad xbox port rushed out the door for xmas.… Expand

It's not really a bad game to tell you the truth. It's fun to play and nice to look at. Sure the graphics could be better but that doesn't break the game.
