    +A great storyline with a lot of colorful and great variety of characters
    +Great battle system and leveling up system that focuses on character exclusive job and attacks

    +Great design in environment, sprites and animations

    -You have limited choice of who you can use in the end of the game
    -Some of the battle commands are missing in the NA version due to censorship
    -The NA version is the easy type which means it is easier than the original Japanese version

At the time, the narrative for this game seemed quite amazing. For a roleplaying game, this even had a good deal of replay value. With an entertaining story, varied character skills, and a lot of cool bosses, this game was very addicting. Full Review »

If you have never played any of them, and you own a Wii, stop reading this and download Final Fantasy II on the Virtual Console service. If you have never played a Final Fantasy game before, and thought "RPGs aren't for me", stop reading this and download FFII. Or, buy one of the many versions available now on virtually every modern console. Easily one of the finest video games ever made, with a deep storyline, engaging characters, an easy-to-learn combat system and a good learning curve. You will LOVE this game. Full Review »
