    Addictive simplicity. [Dec 2010, p.86]

The hero is a lot of fun, the setting is interesting and gameplay is somehow original. A shame for all the repetitiviness and the annoying controls.

If you find you have a knack for the basic gameplay of FlingSmash, beyond willing yourself through the levels as I did, there's plenty of replayability.

FlingSmash is full of interesting gameplay ideas that would've been a lot more fun if the game controlled well, or at the very least, compensated for the poor controls by being a little more forgiving.

The game is bundled with a Wii remote plus controller so you might think this platformer is a delight to play. But the main problem with the game is in fact: the controls. It's very inaccurate and it'll usually make you frustrated. The game has some fun moments, and it looks pretty good, but it's short and some levels are really dull.

It's clear that even Nintendo wasn't sure what to do with Flingsmash at retail, so instead of trying to convince the gaming populous to buy it separately or even as a WiiWare download, it's used as a premium to get people to upgrade to the Wii RemotePlus.

FlingSmash's title might be short, snappy and to the point, but the game itself only manages the first of those three.

This game's only problem is the fact that is on CD. It should be damned WiiWare. Controls are okay and main villain is kind of cool, but most of time you just have to mindlessly swing Wii remote to every possible direction. Stages with metal characters shouldn't be in game (game's normal mindlessness times three) The best thing about game is fact that it comes with Wii Motion Plus and it's cheaper than controller alone! The game is mediocre and not worth your time. Artoon is horrible.
