  • Summary: [WiiWare] The legend starts here. Furry Legends is a dynamic platform adventure with the most fur ever seen in games. Solve fun, physics-based puzzles in a fantastic 3D world called Furland. It's a humorous and weird place populated by funny creatures you've never seen before, including five-eyed crabs, round cows, crazy rabbits and the lovely Furballs. Players control fluffy characters, each with a different set of special skills, such as the ability to manipulate time. Save the Furballs from their doom and keep Furland safe from Lord Squarie. 1. Furry Legends is a great game that is severely plagued by its short length.
  2. Developer Gamelion has crafted something special here, combining fun platforming with physics-based mechanics and a good sense of humor that touches on modern internet culture and pure randomness. It's a shame there's not more content in this package.
  3. There's plenty of fun to be had, but given the clever level designs and gameplay ideas, you can't help but be left wondering how much better it would have been with a little tightening up in the control department.
  4. 60
If Furry Legends' Chapters Two and Three come along and address the issues this one contains, then it may retroactively become worthy of purchase as a lead-in to its follow-ups. As a standalone right now, though, it's a skip.

Attacking with a remote flick is too vague - not furry, but fuzzy in fact. [Issue#231, p.95]
  6. For a $10 WiiWare title, the amount of content is respectable. In terms of fun factor, however, this one's hard to recommend.
  7. If this half broken, frustrating platformer counts as one of WiiWare's biggest releases then the service is in an even worse state than we feared.
