  • Summary: Compatible with the Wii Balance Board accessory, Gold’s Gym Dance Workout provides players with a personal experience. Players can build their own circuit program or have one created for them. Circuit programs include continuous dancing and mini-game sessions that provide a full cardio workout. In addition, the player's exercise history, calories burned, and body mass index are stored in the game so players can track their fitness and weight loss progress as they strive towards their personal fitness goals. 1. It certainly can't replace EA Sports Active, which has breadth and depth well beyond anything you'll see here, but Dance Workout is a fun, competent "supplementary" game that deserves a place in your digital exercise collection (that is, if you have one).

As a die-hard fan of Gold's Gym Cardio, it truly hurts to have to write a negative review of this game. Unless you are already proficient at dancing, this game is not for you. The tutorials offer little guidance for someone trying to piece together what the intended moves are and how to perform them correctly. Sadly, there is no speed select or difficulty setting that one may say to the game "Wait, I'm new at this!" For an experienced dancer, I have little doubt that the game should offer little challenge; for the rest of us only frustration awaits. Expand
