  • Summary: [WiiWare] Happy Hammerin' is a party game suitable for friends and families. Compete against each other by bashing moles using the Wii Remote controller. Use the Wii Remote like a hammer and let off some steam as you frantically try to bash the moles popping up all over the screen. Play against the CPU or go head-to-head with up to four players. (Additional accessories are required for the multiplayer modes and are sold separately.) Players can challenge themselves in three different modes: Mole Adventure (1-2 players), Mole Marathon (1 player) and Party Battle (1-4 players). Mole Adventure consists of four stages with three difficulty types. The faster you bash, the more points you get. With broadband Internet access, register your scores online and compete against the best mole bashers from around the world. Collapse

  1. Rather than simply releasing a barebones recreation of the most well-known incarnation of the game, developer Agenda chose to liven things up a bit by providing different stages, new moles, multiplayer and even achievements.
  2. It's just whack-a-mole but it does as much as you'd hope with something so limited. [Mar 2010, p.95]
  3. 50
The nostalgia works and the idea's converted well enough, but the game's just a bit too thin all around to recommend.
  4. It’s whack-a-mole with a Wii Remote. You won’t find it all that taxing to fill in the gaps yourself.
  5. A cheap and cheerful extended minigame. [Feb 2010, p.74]
