  1. The sum is greater then the whole with Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. The two player adventure is well done, and the classic Fate of Atlantis game holds up to this day.
  2. Ultimately enjoyable, with some nice gameplay variety and good sound-alike voice acting. [July 2009, p.85]
  3. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is an enjoyable game, especially for casual Wii owners.
  4. The world could really use an awesome Indiana Jones game. Sadly, Staff of Kings is not it.
  5. Try again Indy! This is one of the worst game ever dedicated to his iconic character.
  6. The Indiana Jones-movies were great, the LEGO-installment was fun, but The Staff of Kings disappoints. Visually and gameplay-wise it is pretty mediocre and the adventure is rather short. The Co-op tries to make up, but is also to short. Nope, we'd rather see the old movies than playing this!
  7. Perhaps nobody expected Staff Of Kings to be an Oscar-worthy tale, but the game is marred by its inexcusable “controls,” which lean heavily on the Wii’s motion-sensing capabilities without making them even passably responsive.

This game is mediocre in everything from graphics to gameplay. It is difficult to play because it is not easy to use the motion controls to attack. Some parts also require you to use objects in your surroundings to fight and it is difficult to do just that. Expand

It's very disappointing that every attempt at a decent Indiana Jones game has failed, and this game is no different but even worse than previous attempts. This game looked so promising at first for the interesting gunplay mechanics and the idea that you could pretty much use everything as a weapon. None of the game works. The gunplay is actually generic, a failure, and is never a challenge. The combat system is hard because it barely works and is hard to control. There is even a multiplayer mode where Indiana Jones and hi father have to work together in a completely separate adventure which, too, isn't fun at all. The vehicles are hard to control and the game is so generic it is nearing the unplayable line. The game doesn't even have the Indiana Jones charm. The only thing fun about this game is that it includes the classic Indiana Jones Atlantis game that still stands out among other games (like this one). Its a shame, but be warned that game is generic, hard to control, and repetitive. Expand
