  • Summary: Not everything is well in Dream Land. For some mysterious reason, the Dream Spring, a magical well that is the reservoir for all the dreams of the citizens of Dream Land, is no longer working. Everyone is being subjected to their worst nightmares every time they go to sleep. Upon reaching the Dream Spring, Kirby finds out that evil King Dedede has stolen the Star Rod, thus depriving Dream Land of the magical energy that feeds its spring. Using 20 unique tricks and your ability to steal your enemies' powers by swallowing them, you'll have to make your way through a horrific land filled with all kinds of nightmares. Recover the broken pieces of the Star Rod, and everyone in Dream Land will sleep peacefully once again. If you fail, the citizens of Dream Land will be subjected to a lifetime of terrible nightmares. Originally released for the NES (Nintendo), Kirby's Adventure is a classic game of the Kirby Series. For those who might of played it and seen some similarities, this game is indeed the original version of Nightmare in Dreamland which was remade for the Gameboy Advance. The game is pretty much the same thing except for the less stellar palette swaps. The music is of course 8-bit due to the NES but the gameplay is still solid as it ever was in a Kirby game. Fans will surely love playing this challenging game on the NES. Expand

The first Kirby title for the NES is now on the Wii Virtual Console. It's cute, it's charming and it's pretty easy. Good for longtime fans (and maybe their kids); not so much for those looking for a challenge. Decent game overall. Expand
