JustinOct 14, 200910One of the best downloadable games on any service, not just WiiWare. Great controls, graphics, and gameplay. This game is fantastic and should be bought by anyone who owns a Wii. Download it ASAP, because you won't regret it!

Sep 2, 20109This is easily one of the best WiiWare games available. It is completely fresh and original and the controls are so ingenious. The game is clever from start to finish and the puzzles are balanced perfectly between difficulty and fun. The game is of reasonable length for a WiiWare game too. Graphics are very clean and beautiful to look at.

91With satisfyingly challenging puzzles expertly woven between engaging platforming and a thoroughly charming narrative, Winter of the Melodias represents an essential purchase. It's not simply the best WiiWare title on the market, but one of the best Wii games full stop.

90It's a tightly designed adventure, in other words, and although I'm not willing to mention Winter of the Melodias and its season-switching intricacies in same breath as Link to the Past, Frontier's game certainly makes a decent My First Metroid, bringing the environment and Toku's powers together in a series of clever set-pieces while the map grows ever busier as his agility increases.

The biggest complaints about the original LostWinds were that it was too easy and therefore didn't take long to complete. Thankfully, both of these issues have been addressed - the difficulty has been upped slightly and the game is quite a bit longer, taking about four hours to complete in its entirety.
