It's a great party game, a bargain at $10 and it's the only way to hold an eating contest at your house without someone heaving on your rug.
Due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay the long-term value of this game is questionable, but make no mistake - this game is certainly better than you might have assumed at first glance.
A bare-bones but well-balanced tribute to America's greatest, grossest underdog of a sport.
The online multiplayer adds some value, but the core gameplay is repetitive to the max. [Oct 2008, p.74]
With gameplay as shoddy and boring as this, we’d likely quit before the round ended. Bypass Major League Eating: The Game, and save your money for a better meal.
MLE: The Game is extremely shallow in both gameplay and modes available. The only people who would have any fun with this game are youngsters who cannot stop laughing at bathroom humor.
There just isn't much content here. It's another clunky, ugly Wii game that consists of waving your arms around looking like a jackass.
