Mario Sports Mix it's not the best party game for the Nintendo Wii, but Square Enix managed to put together a decent number of sports that will surely entertain you and your friends.

Overall this is a good game for playing with friends, with lots of comic situations and a potential for high competitiveness between the players. However, its gameplay can become too simple and repetitive for some players.

The game plays great, and while it might be tough, never to the point where it feels cheap or frustrating. Instead, the sports play too similarly to each other and there isn't any challenge to winning the tournaments in each cup.

Mario and his pals starred in some great sports titles back in the Nintendo 64 days, but gameplay like this just doesn't cut it in 2011. [March 2011, p.93]

This game is quite well done, the graphics have impressed me, I know people don't agree with me, but its impossible for me to hate this game. There is only one (fairly big) problem with this game, difficulty, this game is too easy (except for the behemoths) Overall, 8.4/10 Expand
  3. Great multi-player game for fans of Mario games in general. Just don't play it alone, or else you will be bored out of your mind. Also, great for kids. Collapse
  4. Mario Sports Mix may be pretty fun, but due to the lack of other fun sports, like tennis, baseball, football, and other fun sports, some sports that are somehow not based on actual sports, and lame voice talents, it is a waste of $50. So I gave it to my class, which has a Wii. Expand
