  • Summary: (Also known as "Mario Strikers Charged Football") Take to the pitch as Mario Strikers Charged arrives with a new roster of features. The follow-up to "Super Mario Strikers" delivers bigger shots, massive hits and the chance to play gamers around the world. Mario Strikers Charged is high-impact, all the time. More captains, more playing fields, more sidekicks: It's crush or be crushed in this wild kickfest. Goal Control: Use the skill the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers provide to win the ball, score unstoppable goals and take control of the goal keeper to perform spectacular saves. Score Big with Mega Strikes: Each captain has his or her own set of skills and super abilities, as well as the ability to perform special shots called Mega Strikes, where the iron ball splits into five balls and flies at the goal. The defending player must use the Wii Remote controller to shoot these balls out of the air to stop a goal. [Nintendo] Expand

A phenomenal addition to the Wii's library and will rival GoldenEye 64 in terms of the exhilarating multiplayer experiences that it offers up. Don't turn your nose up at it just because you don't like soccer or you'll be missing out on one of the best gaming experiences around. Now, bring on Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
  2. There's enough strategy to dig into for the added satisfaction, but underneath it all is a foundation of pure fun. [Oct 2007, p.90]
  3. If you're looking for a game that's vaguely soccer-themed and a lot of fun, then strap on your body armor and head for the Mushroom Kingdom. [Sep 2007, p.84]
  4. The gameplay is classic Nintendo multiplayer fun and will put a smile on your face.

Brilliant! I love it so much I cannot wait to go online. It's challenging, great music, awesome "specials" and sweet, sweet violence. Replay value is very high. Highly recommended. Expand

What can I say? This is a chaotically fun sports title that is sure to bring your friends together. Just don't expect too much in the way of depth. A must-own Wi-Fi title. Expand
  3. This game was a disappointment. I own the Gamecube installment of this mini-series, and had a blast with that game. The simplicity and flowing-ness of the game really made me believe I was a part of a team and in total control. This sequel however, didn Expand

Shallow and unfun, perhaps on a gamecube controller but deffinatly clumsy, inacruate and hard to tollerate on the wiimotes. It may have online in the simplest terms...but just barly...and as I said about the gameplay in general an unfun game doesn't magicaly become fun online. Collapse
