Aesthetics aside, this is no ordinary marble game: it's deeper, tougher, and generally pretty great. [Nov 2007, p.102]
  2. Tilting the Wii Remote to control the table is intuitive and feels natural. Color matching can be frustrating at times, but adds to the overall challenge of the gameplay.

While this latest "Mercury" may not be essential to the Wii's library as it was to the PSP's, it is essential to anyone who misses the glory days of endless puzzle platformers, or is serious about getting more game for their buck. [May 2007, p.54]
  4. I definitely recommend renting this one before fully committing. [July 2007, p.102]

The strict controls make Mercury Meltdown Revolution a bit too frustrating for casual audiences. [Nov 2007, p.100]

It drives me absolutely crazy when publishers slap the Saturday-morning-cartoon-like coat of paint over a game, thereby alienating most people over the age of eight.

Eventually, though, the feeling of “screw this!” will win out, as the annoying levels slowly outnumber the fun ones.

Because it, at its core, resembles a marble maze, the Wii-mote is perfect for it and the game really captures the feel of a blob of mecury rolling about in a maze. I've found this game a refreshing change from every other game genre. Full Review »

Nice little game that makes a good alternative in a game library. It's a good mix between Marble Madness and also Super Monkey Ball Nice little game that makes a good alternative in a game library. It's a good mix between Marble Madness and also Super Monkey Ball (without the annoying Monkey sounds). If you already have the PS2 (Remix) or PSP versions, it's not worth buying Revolution because it's pretty much all the same levels. But if you don't, don't hesitate putting your hands on that one... it's a budget price, which is great for a gem like this. The only problem I have with it is that the difficulty level increases a bit too fast, but if you're willing to put some time on practicing it's worth the effort. Full Review »

Why spend money on this, when you can get the same on PS2 for a fraction of the cost?! It's madness!
