Played the PAL version for about a hour and it completely blows Marble and Monkey out of the water.

Excelent! I never had so much fun playing with a blob of mercury in a long time! It's a must buy!

Why spend money on this, when you can get the same on PS2 for a fraction of the cost?! It's madness!

This is a really fun game, probably because it is unique. Because it, at its core, resembles a marble maze, the Wii-mote is perfect for it and the game really captures the feel of a blob of mecury rolling about in a maze. I've found this game a refreshing change from every other game genre.

Nice little game that makes a good alternative in a game library. It's a good mix between Marble Madness and also Super Monkey Ball (without the annoying Monkey sounds). If you already have the PS2 (Remix) or PSP versions, it's not worth buying Revolution because it's pretty much all the same levels. But if you don't, don't hesitate putting your hands on that one... it's a budget price, which is great for a gem like this. The only problem I have with it is that the difficulty level increases a bit too fast, but if you're willing to put some time on practicing it's worth the effort. Expand

  1. Other than the new controls this is the same as the PS2 and PSP Meltdowns, but when rolling a blob of mercury is as addictive and challenging as this it really doesn't matter. [Apr 2007, p.88]
  2. This substantial race-against-the-clock ball puzzler will reduce even the most hardcore player to a sobbing emotional wreck in need of institutionalisation. In a good way. Not one for the lazy. [May 2007, p.54]
  3. While this latest "Mercury" may not be essential to the Wii's library as it was to the PSP's, it is essential to anyone who misses the glory days of endless puzzle platformers, or is serious about getting more game for their buck. [May 2007, p.54]
