  1. It's a substantial undertaking, too, with breadth as well as depth, and with a control system that demonstrates the Wiimote's capabilities more fully than its direct competitors.
  2. Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a good puzzle game with terrific controls, physics, and is actually worth more than the price.
  3. Mercury Meltdown Revolution may be a port of a game in a genre the Wii already has in plentiful supply, but it’s a solid port, a good game, and at an ideal price. That adds up to a great value that’s well worth checking out.

The single best bargain currently available for the Wii.
  5. For $20, this game is really pretty impressive. This is not Bioshock or Mario Galaxy, but it is what it is – and with the Wii-mote it is a lot of fun.
  6. Puzzle fans will likely glom onto Mercury Meltdown Revolution and will revel in the challenge, creative levels, and the basic and accessible control scheme, but unless you're a puzzle fanatic there's only frustration to be found.
  7. I buy games to explore other worlds, and the Wii seems satisfied with merely distracting me from this one. [Oct 2007, p.90]

Played the PAL version for about a hour and it completely blows Marble and Monkey out of the water.

This is a really fun game, probably because it is unique. Because it, at its core, resembles a marble maze, the Wii-mote is perfect for it and the game really captures the feel of a blob of mecury rolling about in a maze. I've found this game a refreshing change from every other game genre. Expand

Nice little game that makes a good alternative in a game library. It's a good mix between Marble Madness and also Super Monkey Ball (without the annoying Monkey sounds). If you already have the PS2 (Remix) or PSP versions, it's not worth buying Revolution because it's pretty much all the same levels. But if you don't, don't hesitate putting your hands on that one... it's a budget price, which is great for a gem like this. The only problem I have with it is that the difficulty level increases a bit too fast, but if you're willing to put some time on practicing it's worth the effort. Expand

Why spend money on this, when you can get the same on PS2 for a fraction of the cost?! It's madness!
