  1. For everyone from casual gamers who want something to fire up and play that won’t run away from you when real life intervenes, and for serious pool sharks who want to play pool even when they’re not playing pool, this game should satisfy. And for the price of about four games of real pool at your local pub, this game is a steal (not to mention a lot longer lasting than your 800 Wii Points would normally buy you on WiiWare).
  2. It's a nice little pool game. [Dec 2008, p.99]
  3. You will be hard pressed to find a better pool experience on the Wii, especially with an $8 price tag.
  4. As always with Gameloft's efforts, the mostly solid gameplay is simply undersold by some rough edges that betray the title's Java and/or Flash roots. It's certainly not the best pool game you'll ever play, but for the price it should prove more than enough for most people's needs.
  5. 70
Midnight Pool isn't a genre-changing experience for the world of video billiards, but it is the best game of pool you can find anywhere on Wii, despite its internet flash game roots.
  6. Midnight Pool is a welcome purchase on the Wii Ware system, representing decent value for your Wii points.
  7. A bit disappointing. [Dec 2008, p.79]
