  1. Mini Ninjas may not blow down any doors, but it is unique and very well executed. It's also fun, with appealing visuals and interesting environments designed for exploration. In some places, the game may fall a little bit short, but don't let that fool you. In the end, it's all Ninja, and not to be underestimated.
  2. If there were a little more variety to the gameplay, this would be damn nigh essential. As it is, it's a high-end, polished game that'll crease your chops into an appreciative grin.
  3. It has all the elements of a brilliant game, but they don't quite come together as the classic it could have been. Very good all the same. [Nov 2009, p.54]
  4. Mini Ninjas is obviously a game that was created with children in mind, and in the 'good, clean, wholesome fun' department, it truly excels. Of course adults used to more meat on the bone in their action titles might find it a bit lacking.
  5. Mini Ninjas is a good action game, entertaining, enjoyable and able to offer some hours of good fun, but far from being one of the great games of the genre.

Although the combat is fun and grows as the game progresses, Mini Ninjas is still a little on the simple side and that will throw some gamers off (also, the boss fights are giant quick time events/button prompts, which is disappointing).
  7. 70
It is a fun game for the young and less experienced gamers. However, due to the fact that the game is not very challenging, Mini Ninjas is not recommendable for the regular gamer. Moreover the lack of an offline or online multiplayer mode is a pity.

Really enjoyed this game. Its cute, controls work well, game play is not frustrating. Suitable for younger children as well as adults. Had good fun with this one, and still haven't completed all levels. Collapse

This was a great game experience for young and older gamers alike. I found myself having loads of fun exploring the game world even though there is always a clear path. Breath taking and heart warming with just a couple of shortcomings. Hiro is the only fully developed character while the others play a limited supportive role. Still, his game play design was a blast. Wii owners will not be disappointed. Expand
