    The new gesture based controls seem like a bad idea, and yet in practice they feel responsive and satisfying to perform... most of the time. Very occasionally, your movements won't be recognized, which is troubling.
  2. A good entry point to the series, but if you've played any recent Mortal Kombat game, you'll notice that most of this stuff has been recycled.
  3. While the Wii-mote controls are pretty gimmicky and not very practical, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon offers a robust amount of features and game modes, plus plenty of fighters and unlockables to keep you busy.
  4. A little better than your average port. The Wii controls work pretty well and the game has always been a solid gaming experience. With the inclusion of the Wii-only Khameleon and the tons of replayability the game offers, fans of the series have a lot to be thankful for, but only if they haven't already played the PS2 or Xbox versions to death.

    Mortal Kombat Armageddon hasn't changed much in six months. There are a few new bonuses and executing moves is done different but the game is still very enjoyable.
  23. The problem with the game is that it doesn't have as much support to the one-on-one fighting that previous games in the series has had.
  24. We’re definitely disappointed in the implementation of the Wii controls in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. It could be so much more than it is, and with downgraded graphics and no online option, this is a lazy port. At the same time, there are more fighters, stages, and modes here than you’ll likely ever get around to messing with.
  25. To me Armageddon still is an enjoyable game, but is still one that does require a lot of patience to get into the controls and the game itself.

    This one doesn’t redefine the fighter genre, but it’s still a fun Wii fighter that interested players can enjoy if they’re willing to put up with some small problems here and there.

    You may think "What?" This is like the other Mortal Kombats... Well there you have it, but if your looking to buy a game with decent graphics and something new, give this a try. Playing with a friend and kicking there ass can be pretty entertaning. This somewhat flawed game still has some fun in it. Full Review »

    A fantastic title with tons of kontent- Kombat fighting mode(the best mode), Konquest adventure mode(2nd best), and Motor Kombat racing mode(kinda dull but ok), and a Kreate a Fighter full of nearly endless options. Game can get a bit repetitive, though. Full Review »
