I have thoroughly enjoyed Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution - it isn't a crappy game with a license tacked on, but rather a great game that makes excellent usage of a license to enhance the overall feel.
  2. Sure, it's not a big deviation from the Clash of Ninja franchise formula, but I can appreciate it for what it's worth: a good time.
  3. The presentation captures the essence of the show– even with its sometimes-squeaky character voicework. Revolution also has Wii-specific mini-games packed in, along with the option to fight against three other players – always a bonus for this type of game.
  4. A simple fighting game, designed for fans of the Naruto.
  5. Overall, Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is a great fighter for the Wii that isn’t as full-featured as it could be, but it’s probably good enough to take the crown of the best fighter on the Wii this year.
  6. This game hits the mark in being a fun fighter. For once, the Wii controls weren't an after thought -- they actually help the game instead of hindering it. Good choice for anyone who wants a good fighter or fun game on the Wii.
  7. Somehow, Naruto Clash of the Ninja Revolution both makes good use of the license and ended up being a very enjoyable game overall. It might not be the greatest game of this year, but there is a lot to like about Naruto Clash of the Ninja Revolution.
  8. It has everything you want in your fighting games with the exception of online capabilities.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution isn’t a huge improvement over its GameCube predecessors, but it is still a better overall package, and for that we can’t fault it.
  10. A completely manic fighting game that makes it satisfyingly simple to do some impressively simple moves. [Jan 2008, p.54]
  11. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is not a bad game; however, it is not a great game either. It’s a good game with growing pains.

This game, Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is a little average coming from the Gamecube series. Actually seeing the changes of graphics from the GameCube to the Wii, it's not that great. The story arc for this game is set from the very beginning of the show to the Akatsuki Arc (i think). For a bit of a bonus, the way how the game depicts the story got an upgrade so yeah! The gameplay mechanics are just the same with an updated moveset. Multiplayer is just the same. Everything is just the same. Given that this was the first game in the series for the Wii you can give some exceptions But overall, it's Clash of Ninja with punching motions which is also sub-par. Full Review »

While the gameplay scheme is the same with a few new characters, the feel is not what it is supposed to be but all around it , it's simply fine. Full Review »
