Jan 1, 2012100Rayman Origins combines art and challenge in a unique form.

Nov 29, 2011100Rayman Origins perfectly embodies what made many of us fall in love with gaming in the first place. It's a nigh-on flawlessly executed romp through intricately designed levels that boast the most gorgeously detailed and vibrant visuals you'll see this generation. Tight controls, a perfectly judged difficulty curve, fantastically surreal boss fights and tons of replayability go that extra mile.
-
Nov 9, 201195It's downright gorgeous and a total blast to play alone or with friends. A truly realized vision at the top of its genre, Rayman Origins is an extravaganza with plenty of action to keep it fresh from start to finish and beyond.

Nov 8, 201195It all adds up to be the best Rayman game ever made, and that's coming from someone who adores Rayman 2. [Nov 2011, p.80]

Dec 29, 201193Rayman Origin proves that multiplatform games don't have to be a load of bull on the Wii. The game may even be better on Wii, because the offline co-op mode better fits the console. The Wii Remote may come with its own problems but they are easily resolved by adding a Nunchuck or Classis Controller. Good job, Ubisoft!
-
Nov 23, 201191Rayman games may usually prompt little more than a shrug of indifference, but don't dismiss Origins. It's a top quality platformer from start to finish, a dazzling showcase for Ubisoft Montpellier's artistic talents, and one of the best Wii games of this (or any other) year.
-
Nov 11, 201191If videogames were in a museum, Rayman Origins would be probably one of the stars of the platforming room. This game is an incredible piece of art, recommended for every gamer with no exception.
-
Dec 12, 201190Rayman Origins is a rare beast, both as a side-scroller and a clever game with a ton of heart. This is a game with a sense of humor and a sense of joy. Fans of the genre would be fools to miss it, as would anyone who appreciates artistic and eccentric game design, or who wants a non-traditional but extremely solid multiplayer title.
-
Dec 8, 201190Still, this is a solid title that must be experienced. If you don't mind a few disembodied handfuls of rage-inducing difficulty or the constant, sanity-warping slapstick, you'll have a blast, especially if you invite some friends to slap around.
-
Dec 1, 201190A certain Italian plumber should watch his back - Rayman Origins is as good as New Super Mario Bros. Wii and not far off from approaching the quality of some of his finest 2D adventures.

Jan 14, 201288Insert ear plugs and dust off those reflexes: 2D platforming is back. [Christmas 2011, p.62]
-
Nov 24, 201185It's a very well crafted platform, bestowed with an incredible design. On the other hand, the pros could find it sometimes too easy, as on Wii there are much more compelling games in the genre, like Donkey Kong.
-
Nov 15, 201185Rayman Origins is a wonderful 2D platformer whose goofy charm will have you smiling all the way through.
