   First of all I have to say that I am biased as I am a very big RE fan. I knew it was a rail-shooter so I wasn't expecting a lot of depth. But in all fairness for a rail shooter it does a good job at adding plenty of unlockables and upgradable weapons and very addicting co-op. This is not a major title. To me this is like the equivalent to mario kart or mario party. Its not really a game in the main series. It is however something that is entertaining alone and very enjoyable with another person. If you like on-rail shooters I am sure you will enjoy this. If you hate on-rail shooters..... obviously this is going to be a game where you wished you were one of the zombies with a bullet in its head.… Expand

   The 'lightgun' style action is fun and exciting in the rich RE world for a while and the representations of RE0 and RE1 are great. The 3rd act starts to drop off the rails though and goes progressively further downhill until the awful 'new' chapter that both plays badly and adds nothing to the series whatsoever. The replay value that goes with this type of game is also strangely absent. Try it first.… Expand

   Truly the most heart breaking and disappointing game of the year. Even as a rail shooter it fails to succeed - where the positive reviews have come from, I simply don't know, but they genuinely frighten me into worrying that it will encourage Capcom and Nintendo to pump out more games of such an unenjoyable level and mess. It's a disheveled heap of who knows what - the only real resemblance to Resident Evil it has is that you recognize some of the scenery, and zombies attack you. Otherwise, it can be summarized as a game where a little red circle makes (sometimes, but mostly not) zombies recoil. It's simply that bad.… Expand
