  1. We Rock: Drum King proves that drumming simply doesn't satisfy without the acknowledging thwack and rebound of stick meeting skin. [June 2009, p.118]
  2. Its difficulty curve is all over the place. [June 2009, p.81]

Let's not be delusional here. Rolling Stone: Drum King started and finished as a total cash-in product, and isn't going to hold a candle to the bigger music game efforts out there. Unfortunately, it's not only way under the bar, but borderline unplayable for anyone looking for a competent music effort on the Wii.

it's a fairly nice game. it obviously is a cash cow, but as much guitar hero sux for someone who can play real guitar, this one is cool for someone who cant play drums. it definitely wears off soon enough as the tracks are quite limited, but the joy of playing is still there. but if you want 'real rebound' or cant mimick movements in a timely manner, dont play guitar hero or drum king.
