Sandy Beach is an extremely simple, casually-focused creation tool with a flimsy little tower defense mode added on.
  2. Having two game modes is good because there is a little something for everyone here. The first game type rewards right-brained creative types while the second game is designed for more analytical left-brainiacs. Unfortunately, both types of people will most likely feel somewhat unsatisfied by each; they are both very simple, lacking in repeat play value, and suffer from unforgivably clumsy controls.
  3. Much like a real sandcastle, it's fun for an hour or so then becomes a washout. [Oct 2010, p.97]

Every bit as dull as it sounds, and with sloppy controls to boot. [Issue#231, p.95]

Building sand castles with the sounds of the ocean. Slapping attacking crabs. If this sounds fun to you then you will love this game. The most low key relaxing game one could ever play. Expand
