  1. Scarface: The World is Yours for the Wii probably won’t change the world, Other than using the Wii’s pointer to aim, it doesn’t do much that the Grand Theft Auto series hasn’t done in the past, but it does what it does extremely well.

Drugs, blood, fast cars, exotic locales, swearing and Balls galore. We love it! [Sept 2007, p.83]

It’s just as entertaining and immersive on Wii as ever before. IR control gives the game a more streamlined feel, and Wii owners that fit in the hardcore crowd will absolutely eat this one up, as it’s currently one of the deepest and most entertaining experiences on the system.

It's certainly not the most subtle game in the world but if you're old enough to play it Scarface is a joy. It's a shame it looks like it was made five years ago, though. [Aug 2007, p.84]
  5. It’s funny what a good control scheme can do for a game and Scarface for the Wii definitely benefits from the Wii Remote and Nunchuk swinging action.
  6. Ultra-violent shooting, satisfying driving and a slightly strange business management sim, mixed with some admirably creative swearing. Not so clever but very big and enjoyable.
  7. An outstanding game for Xbox and PS2 last year, but the Wii version shines even brighter. The controls work great, with players able to shoot specific body parts or wave a chainsaw around by maneuvering the Wii remote.
  8. Between the excellent new controls and the already superb gameplay under the hood, The World Is Yours is one of the best games on the Wii these days.
  9. Few titles nowadays grow in stature yet almost a year on from its original release, Scarface: The World is Yours remains as strong and potent an experience as you’ll find.

If you are looking for a game with graphics to showcase your Wii then you'll be disappointed. However, if you're however prepared to look past the almost awful graphics then you'll find a real gem hidden underneath.
  11. If you like Grand Theft Auto and can put up with a step backwards in graphics you’ll love Scarface. It might not bring much that is new to the table, but fans of the film will certainly love the idea of playing out the ‘what if’ scenario with one of the greatest films of the eighties.

Go ahead and fill up Sierra Entertainment's balls meter--they've earned it. [Aug 2007, p.84]

Well for one the use of the Wii Zapper (i suppose that is what most people use for this game) was really difficult (as with any game using the Wii Zapper.) Great story line but the mechanics are difficult to control. 4/10 Full Review »

Half of me wants to love the game. The opportunity to be Tony Montana, cruising Miami in a Lamborghini, cussing away at "hasas" or whatever Half of me wants to love the game. The opportunity to be Tony Montana, cruising Miami in a Lamborghini, cussing away at "hasas" or whatever he calls them before going into a blind rage with a chainsaw, all while listening to a mix tape of great music. Than somone sneaks up behind me and shoots me in the back of the head. It is not the dying part, it is the inability to just redo a side mission. I find this game hard to manuever and bloated. After a few tries, I was addicted to the Godfather, after playing Scarface a while, I wanted to join rehab. Sorry Manolo, I have to let choo go. Full Review »
