The most ambitious installment yet, Shaun White Skateboarding brings all the sensations of skateboarding to a wide audience making skate dreams possible and allowing players to transform a dull, lifeless city into their own extraordinary skating utopia.

As players skate, they add color, life and brilliance to the city by extending handrails into endless grinds, carving alleys into half pipes, morphing streets into ramps and much more. Players can skate their way, any way they want, to create their own customized skating world that can also be shared with friends. Shaun White Skateboarding empowers skaters to push the limits of what’s possible.

Graphics and level design are truly poor, especially when compared to the Skate saga, but a good control system somehow makes up for that (until you plug in the balance board...)

Shaun White Skateboarding is a decent games but it lacks something. Its unprecise control makes tricks less enjoyable than they should, and we miss some more variety in its challenges.

Shaun White Skateboarding for Wii is a very simple title, fairly funny at first but too limited and repetitive in order to entertain for more than a few hours. Ubisoft has decided to shelve the structure designed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, offering a sort of simplification for younger gamers, and the result is disappointing. Better go back to the mountains, maybe.

There just isn't a whole lot going for Shaun White: Skateboarding. It's a game that's, at best, bland and uninspired, and stuck in the past. With the quality of skateboarding titles that are out today, this game just doesn't do enough to stand out from the crowd.

Shaun White Skateboaring fails in so many ways, from the gameplay to its lackluster technic, that it cannot appeal not only the average gamer, but even those who love the genre.

Shaun White Skateboarding has a good hook with the transforming environments, but the bland level design and unsatisfactory gameplay make it, at best, a mediocre skateboarding game.
