Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem has a wonderfully insane concept and theme, wrapped around some really mindless shoot-it-all gameplay -- so while it won't win you over on the merits of how it plays, it might just be crazy enough in story and presentation to earn your investment of 500 Wii Points.
Those good points aside, the sluggish controls and bad graphics prevent Shootanto from competing with the big retail releases. As a result, it should be considered only as a cheap and convenient supplement to a player’s collection, and not as a replacement for a good retail version of a game in this genre.

A shooting game in WiiWare might be tempting for the ones who like this genre, or for the ones who want to try this sort of game for a low price, but its execution lacks everywhere.
