  • Summary: Play the popular Sonic The Hedgehog sequel, made specifically for the Sega Master System. Sonic returns home to his island just in time to see Dr. Eggman (aka Dr. Robotnik) run off with Tails. In fact, Dr. Eggman has kidnapped all of Sonic's animal friends and placed them in robotic mind-controlling suits. He demands the six Chaos Emeralds, hidden on the island, in exchange for their safe return. Explore underground mine shafts, dash through underwater tunnels, and hang glide through the clouds in Sonic's search for the Chaos Emeralds. Once Sonic's found them all, he must face off with Dr. Eggman and thwart the evil scientist's plan for global domination! Expand

Adding a lot of completents to the first one (Sonic I) like the useful friend Tails (who has more importance in the sequel of this one), the possibility to play half-screen races against other partner, and a lot of new level. Many of them could look familiar to you once you've played the first game, but... what can I say? Casino Night has gone too far away from the old Spring Yard. About the others... some of them like Sky Chase and Wing Fortress are kinda new for the game and look amazing! What is not an improve is the ''special stages''... they are good... but, well, not as good as Sonic I's. Also you've to deal with Tails, who is moved by the console and it makes you waste a lot of rings since he hardly tries but sadly fails to imitate every movement you do, every step you take, and since what's needed here is at least a little accuracy, this a really dis-advantage. For other else, perfect game, really ivolved Sonic Saga, one of the best, if it's not THE ONE. Expand
