KevinBOct 6, 200910Bought that for my kids, it is simply amazing! Great graphics, lots of fun to play, discover parts, and the creature editor is A LOT of fun! You parent should definitely get that for your kids! (mines are 7 & 9).

AbbyC.Oct 14, 20098I think it's a pretty good game for my kids. I prefer the fact that there's no online sharing because it's safer in a way. Colorful and fun game to keep them busy at home. I recommend it if you have young children!

JJMOct 6, 200910Best game on the Wii this year, hands down. Very impressive creature creator and animation system running on the Wii.

OliviaYOct 15, 20096I was disappointed with this game. Once more the Wii dumb down another amazing game. If you were expecting to find similarities to the PC you won't find it here. Spore hero really limited the players creativity. It took me only 6-7hours to beat this game my first time through. I wish I could get my $50 back.

The game may be too easy for some, but this spin-off adventure made it to Wii mostly unscathed. [Nov 2009, p.86]

But it’s hard not to be disappointed that one of gaming’s true visions – of life’s multiplicity and constantly changing nature – should end up broadening itself by slumping into a worn groove of genre pieces and business dogma.

Spore is an enjoyable (if slightly short) Zelda-lite adventure. However, the creation and evolution aspects -- major parts of what made the original game so impressive -- have taken a back seat to a run-of-the-mill equipment upgrade grind with some minor aesthetic variations. Spore Hero is a fun game; it’s just not necessarily a Spore game.
