The fighting is simple enough for anyone to pick up and check out, whether they've played a Street Fighter game in the past decade, or are new to fighters in general. At the same time, there's enough options here to keep high level players interested and entertained, and a diverse enough roster of characters to keep the action from being mundane and boring. Tie that to a multiplayer system that works really well, with the occasional lag issues of course, and you've got what amounts to the best fighter on the Wii at this moment in time.
This is the type of title that the console has needed since launch, and should be in any player who loves fighters or all-out action's collection. It's easy to pick up but hard to master, and it's all rounded off with beautiful presentation and a stylish flair.

It’s an excellent fighting game that deserves to be played despite its commercial handicaps.
Even if we had to wait a long year for the game to get outside Japan, Tatsunoko vs Capcom is still a great beat'em up, filled with content and boosting a nice online mode.
Even though it could have done with a few more options for the lone wolf player, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars has a lot of replayability online and is quite simply the best fighting game offering on the Wii.
To say it's a good stopgap for Super Street Fighter IV would be an injustice, as it's a fighter that stands out on its own merit. Those who look beyond the tinted visors will discover not just an excellent Wii game but an all kinds of awesome 2D fighter.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a solid entry in the Vs Capcom line and certainly worth experiencing for die-hard Capcom fighting fans, but has a few little rough spots that could have benefited from extra effort.
Best fighting game on the Wii. GRAPHICS: clean, fast, amazing- 10/10. ACTION: Fights are fasted paced and unpredictable, the variety of characters is great, and the mini-games are awesome. Basically everything you could want out of a fighter- 10/10. MECHANICS: The controls (Classic Pro) are easy to learn unlike some other fighting games. Special moves are easy to learn and each character has their own style- 10/10. EXTRAS: Having half a cast of relatively unknown characters makes the game BETTER in my opinion. No preconceived notions about who should be good, better than X, or whatever and no nerd rage when Magneto doesn't instantly (instantly) kill Iron Man. Having what are essentially blank slates gives the player (or maybe just me) the chance to make up their own stories for the characters, like how Tekkaman is fighting for **** robot marriage- 10/10.

No fighting game is ever perfect. But there are a handful of fighting games that are near perfect. Tatsunoko vs Capcom (TvC) is one of them. There are only a few minor problems, the main one is that not many people know or even heard about Tatsunoko, therefore some of the characters will be brand new to the gamer. Secondly, like nearly all fighting games, there isn't much of a story. Well for the majority of this game, it is excellent. The graphics are good (for Wii), the fighting is intense and very addictive, the hyper specials are awesome and multiplayer is just great. If you are a die-hard fighting game expert or you're still a rookie this game would fit perfectly into your Wii games collection.

The shallow fighting game will be enjoyed by hardcore fans, but anyone else will be mystified by its sheer lackluster gameplay. There isn't enough content for a $40 pricetag, especially in the terms of characters. There is are three or so standard modes of "story" (there really isn't any, if you're wondering), arcade, and versus. They're all more or less decent, but get into the the gameplay and problems arise. Firstly, the two character swap out of place and useless. It's actually reallllly annoying, and can drag down any good match. The backdrops are poorly done and uncreative, just like the rest of the game. It's still fun... kinda... but the constant sticky controls, icky graphics, and lack of desirable content just makes it another mediocre installment in the capcom fighting franchise.
