When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Using the power and unique control of the Wii console, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess features precise aiming control using the Wii Remote. The Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller are used for a variety of game activities, including fishing and special sword attacks. Players ride into battle against troops of foul creatures using an amazing horseback combat system, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed. [Nintendo] Expand

  1. Not only immersive, but addictive. Once quest has begun, it will be near-impossible to put the controllers down until Link and Midna have saved the day.
  2. Without a doubt the best Zelda title ever.

An excellent addition (and homage to "Ocarina") to the franchise, and you'll have an enormous amount of fun playing it from start to finish. Get over the fact that the Wii's hardware is simply not as powerful as the other next-gen machines and get into the fact that Twilight Princess is one of the best games you'll play this year.

The greatest Zelda game ever created and one of the best launch titles in the history of launch titles – second only, perhaps, to the at-the-time ground-breaking "Super Mario 64." It is also one of the finest games I have ever played.
  5. 94
It might not be the utterly revolutionary Zelda title that we all expected and its not without its faults, but one thing is clear: Twilight Princess is worth the Wii's price tag alone, even if the fishing does put you at risk of a coronary.
  6. The new control scheme is beautifully integrated into the game, and it feels perfectly natural to start waving your hand like a maniac whenever danger approaches.
  7. Fans of the series will be delighted by the recurring themes, but may be soured by a strong sense of repetition.

My first ten on Metacritic. Simply put, this is the best Zelda Ive played. But first! No I don't say that about every new Zelda. Ocarina My first ten on Metacritic. Simply put, this is the best Zelda Ive played. But first! No I don't say that about every new Zelda. Ocarina was awesome, and Windwaker was okay... but "A Link to the Past" has always been my favorite. Until now. Yes it's really that good, and yes it's worth buying a Wii over. A minor thing wrong with the game, althought the rest of the game is so good it doesn't matter, is that the bosses are too easy. But otherwise it goes beyond what any other games really do. Pure Nintendo magic. Expand

I loved it! Not as good as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, but better than The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The series still feelsI loved it! One of the most detailed, artisically superior games ever created. A little on the easy side, but a fantastic launch game.

Illia, a girl form Link’s village, is kidnapped early on so Link sets out on Epona to find her. The plot quickly becomes so much more than that, though, when Link learns of the usurper king of the Twilight Realm’s plans and is determined to thwart them with some help from the outstanding side-character Midna. This game takes elements that worked from Ocarina of Time but improves upon them, offering nine unique dungeons, excellent music, and polished gameplay. It’s fairly familiar (you’ll get a bow and arrow, traverse puzzle-filled dungeons, etc.) but adds enough to feel unique and fresh ( you’ll get a the ball and chain, for example). Also, many of the characters you meet are pretty memorable. It's not perfect, to be sure, but its quality elements described add up to one amazing adventure game. Expand

This was a terrible game in comparison to OoT and Majoras Mask, I am ashamed at the direction Nintendo went with this

Too easy bosses, no love at all

Does not deserve such a high rating, I beat it once and have no desire ever to touch it again
