  1. Gamers who tend to prefer a more "grown-up" strategy experience will likely find the cutesy bears and penguins a bit much, but for those who can appreciate the silly theme and intense gameplay mechanics, the game certainly has its charms and can be downright addictive.
  2. Chaotic Conflicts isn't a perfect game. Realistically, it would be hard to even call it a great game. But those who want some simple tower defense gameplay need look no further. Chaotic Conflicts is a competent title despite its flaws, and there's a lot of fun to be had here.
  3. The better of the two Bearsworth Manor games, but still rather cumbersonme to play. [Sept 2010, p.94]
  4. The genre combination works, but ultimately won't be liked by everyone for the mixing of elements.
  5. A cool gothic look and soundtrack help this stand out from all the other bear-tossing puzzlers. [Oct 2010, p.87]
  6. 55
So while the spooky style of Bearsworth Manor is sensational, both Chaotic Conflicts and Puzzling Pages fall flat in offering actual fun or real value for your dollars. Save your Wii Points for another day, and go explore a different haunted mansion instead.
  7. An imaginative game spoiled by rubbish controls. [Aug 2010, p.76]
  8. Wrist ache is inevitable, but it's the imprecision of the strength gauge that ends up causing the most pain. [Sept 2010, p.103]
