  • Summary: Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "WHOA!" Players build these incredible "WHOA Coasters" to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through a burning rings of fire and more. A new lighthearted story ties together more than 100 missions, complete with 34 playable multiplayer theme-park games and social interaction with park guests that's better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park. But is every guest to be trusted? [LucasArts] Expand

  1. Longevity is questionable and some will find it too bitty, but there are few titles on Wii so full of childish glee. If this is Frontier off the rails, we can't wait to see them on track. [Christmas 2007, p.54]
  2. 78
If the game's structure sounds like it would appeal to you, consider giving it a try because (for the most part) the pros outweigh the cons.
  3. Thrillville: Off the Rails makes every part of building and running a theme park great fun.
  4. 70
It takes the theme park building and injects it with mini-games that enable a more hands on approach to building and maintaining your park, rather than just moving the mouse and clicking a bit of dirt.
  5. Like last year’s Thrillville, Off the Rails, requires some research on the part of the player to discover which things are fun (designing faulty rides) and which are a waste of time (talking to guests). Unfortunately, even the content that survives the cull isn’t enough to make the whole experience more than a diversion.
  6. 70
If you’ve played the original, Thrillville: Off the Rails is very similar and only features a few basic improvements. That said, it’s definitely the superior version.
  7. A very average game with limited appeal.

The game is not that bad! It's really fun! I thing I don't really like in this game is the camera. Graphics are good for a wii game but the gameplay is extremely fun. The designs are great as well. This game is really fun because you get to build and design rollercoasters and play alot of minigames as well. This game has deserve a must buy for any wii gamer! This game is excellent. I only suggest you buy the game on a different system because of the complication of tilting the Wii Remote to do practically everything in the game. Collapse
