  1. Add the MotionPlus and this is one of the best golf games ever. Knock off 20% without it. [Aug 2009, p.79]
  2. Across the game’s several innovative features, a common thread ensures Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10’s status as a landmark Wii title — from stunningly accurate motion controls to allowing players to compete with the pros, this game was made to be the most immersive golf game of all-time. And it is.
  3. Wii MotionPlus is a great boon to the Wii version of Tiger - the game is merely a [70] without it. [July 2009, p.82]
  4. Warts and all, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is a revolution in the way golf games control. The new Wii MotionPlus controls are very good, but not amazing yet. If you can power through the early throes of career mode so your player is halfway decent, or are a huge fan of Disc Golf, then by all means pick up this game immediately. Just don't expect it to actually improve your golf swing.
  5. If golf's your game, this will keep you busy for ages. Decent new control modes, some good minigames, online play and real-time weather. [Aug 2009, p.70]

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is the best golf game of this moment, all because of the support of Wii MotionPlus! The accessory creates a challenging and realistic gameplay. We haven't been closer to a golf experience yet.
  7. If only the putting was more consistent. If it were, this would be as essential as "Grand Slam." [July 2009, p.80]
  8. We can't see it getting any better than this for quite some time. [Sept 2009, p.127]
  9. The latest iteration of the Tiger Woods franchise is as close to golfing perfection as you can come. There is a wealth of content to be found here, the controls work great and the overall atmosphere is great. If you're into golfing in any way this is a must buy.
  10. Authentic controls and a variety of play modes stand against merely changed gameplay and graphics. For fans and rookies!
  11. Wii MotionPlus delivers once more, turning the solid but flawed game into probably the best golf sim ever.
  12. With Motion Plus control proving a roaring success, Tiger Woods 10 is comfortably the most realistic golf sim out there. At times, it feels like this is precisely what the Motion Plus peripheral was made for and is a stunning demonstration of its potential. And for many sporting types, this will finally be the game that they bought a Wii for in the first place.
  13. With the MotionPlus feature Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 gives you the most entertaining and advanced golf game experience ever. It’s level of realism gives every hole that extra touch which up’s both the excitement and the pure joy of golfing. Simply a must for every golfing gamer out there.

Casual players might prefer to stick to its Wii Sports equivalent, but PGA Tour 10 is undoubtedly the definitive golf videogame for fans of the sport, offering a level of control and nuance that hasn't been achieved before in sports games.

Love this game! But so SICK OF THE QUITTERS that somehow have figured out a way to give me the loss because I don't have a choice but to shut down the system after they do so. So tired of this, my most recent !@#$hole user MedalMan. Just tired of my rank going down after winning. Anyone help me with this??? Thanks Full Review »

Good game, not amazing, because a few things really let it down. Controls are great, but there have been some big advancements in the graphics for the courses. Water effects are much improved, as are some of the dodgy textures. Some of the jaggies here and there are awful though. The player models in particular are quite shocking.

Some major issues that need to be improved, before I will consider buying another one of these, or recommending it to people, esp casuals:

    1. Older courses are still hideous. They need a facelift to match the new ones.
    2. In multiplayer, you need the option to create and save multiple characters, so that when you have friends around they can play as themselves, with their own animations, with generic stats, all around the 80% mark etc. At the moment, you can only play as one of four saved profiles, or the real life players that come with the game, which my friends have found a bit lame. In two seperate cases it has stopped people I know buying the game. Can't believe they put in the useless 'golf party' and haven't done this yet.
    3. PAL versions do not run in 480P!!!! I was shocked to discover this. Why not?! this is pure laziness from EA, and extremely irritating.

Wanted to give this game more, but like I said, some things just really let it down.

For body movement workouts for us oldies it is great, with all the attributes, including the frustrations of a true to life game of golf. So any oldies out there get onto WII and get a reasonable movement fitness. It won't turn you into an "Arnie" but it will help with limbering up movement...... Full Review »
