Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for Wii is the definitive golf game. It's filled to the top with content, sports spectacular controls enhanced by MotionPlus, and includes great Disc Golf and online modes. Seriously, this is an amazing package made all the better by the peripheral pack- in.
  2. Tiger Woods 10 for the Wii is as close as you can get to a golf course without paying green fees.
  3. There is a ton of content packed into this latest Tiger Woods (including MotionPlus if you opt for the bundle) – so much, we didn’t have space to mention everything in our review. Three games in one, real-time weather, online play, and more.

Tiger Woods 10 on the Wii is the definitive golf game. Beyond the high level of immersion from the Motion Plus controls, and the many months worth of entertaining game modes, this version welcomes the widest ever audience to a "sim" sports game. EA is leveraging the Wii perfectly.
  5. EA has done a bang-up job this year and produced yet another "must have" sports game. If you are a golfing enthusiast, picking up Tiger Woods for the Wii is a no-brainer.

With the addition of MotionPlus, Woods 10 on the Wii is a fantastic golfing videogame, besting its console counterparts because of its control options, extra courses, party game modes, and Frolf. Not to mention, it's casual friendly for anyone to play, but with enough difficulty options for the hardcore to stay interested. It's almost hard to imagine it getting better than this for the foreseeable future.
  7. Tiger Woods 10 with the motion plus, control wise, is really a leap forward in the genre that every fan of this sport should try. But keep in mind that without the new peripheral, the game is just a nice revision of the previous year version, in pure EA-style.
  8. Add the MotionPlus and this is one of the best golf games ever. Knock off 20% without it. [Aug 2009, p.79]
  9. With everything there is to do in this game, I don't know why you'd need another golf game next year, or hell, ever.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 on the Wii breathes new life into the franchise. Everybody golf clap, Tiburon has created a very robust, non-boring golf game where sim meets sport in a scalable experience. WiiMotionPlus brings unparalleled immersion to a game brimming with content, and this Wii title earns its place among the greats as the Tiger game golf fans have to own.
  11. While the PS3 and 360 versions have a substantial aesthetic edge, the Tiger 10 Wiilease is easily the most realistic of the three, allowing players of all abilities to seamlessly enjoy a proper round of golf or a party game together, proof - if ever any was needed - that with some considered creative design, inclusion on the Wii doesn't need to involve dumbing everything down for the benefit of the lowest common denominator.
  12. This isn't just the best Wii golf game we've played, but the best golf game we've played on any system.
  13. The addition of the Wii MotionPlus controller provides an incredibly realistic swing mechanic. That alone makes the purchase of Tiger Woods '10 for the Wii mandatory for anyone that has enjoyed previous versions but been frustrated by the lack of feel in the controller. You will not be disappointed!
  14. The Wii MotionPlus definitely makes the game. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 might not have been as good of a game without the added control sensitivity and accuracy, but now it has evolved to the point that I can't imagine another golf game without it.
  15. Last year's version was phenomenal, but the option to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory makes Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 the most authentic sports video game I've every played. [July 2009, p.90]
  16. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 will be the reference for all the future games of the genre. Comparing it to other titles is impossible, due to the innovation and the possibilities implemented by the WiiMotion Plus. In addition there are a lot of options, the only downside being the graphics (good but no great). The WiiMotion Plus had convinced many critics, but now it appears absolutely essential.
  17. An excellent golf game. It's all there: plenty of courses, long career mode and realistic swing control with robust MotionPlus-support. [July 2009]
  18. With 27 courses, an entire army of game modes, create a player, PGA Tour Season, online head to head play, online tournaments, Play the Pros, frisbee golf, party modes, improved graphics, and the icing on the cake, Wii Motion Plus controls, there is no doubt that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is the best version of the game available on any console.
  19. With an all-new play control scheme and several new bonus features, as well as an online mode that can keep you busy every single day, Tiger Woods 10 for the Wii is a must-have game for fans of golf, as well as for those Wii owners looking to learn how to play real golf.
  20. With excellent controls, a good amount of modes and a great gameplay experience, this Wii version scores better than its competitors. It's the best golf sim to date.
  21. Given all the ways you can play it, as well as the superb MotionPlus controls, the Wii version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is easily the best one. MotionPlus is a definite must-have in order to get the most out of the game, though.
  22. In order to really appreciate the game at its fullest, you need to purchase the Bundle with the Wii MotionPlus add-on or obtain it some other way. You can still enjoy the game without the add-on, but you will not be getting the best experience and will envy those who are. Once you start playing it with it, you will wonder how you played any other golf game in the past.
  23. At the end of the day, EA Sports have created a truly remarkable golfing game on the Wii that proves that the Wii is not just for casual or social gamers.

I don't often get the chance to say this, but here we have the combination of a development team at the top of their game, a technology that matches their requirements and a console in the perfect demographic. Out of this perfect storm comes the first game on the Wii I can whole heartedly endorse to anyone regardless of their age or gaming persuasion.
  25. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 isn’t the first perfect golf game, but it’s the closest anyone’s come yet. Despite some of the graphical hang-ups, and thanks to the immersive gameplay, EA has set a new bar for everyone to follow. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m late for my tee time.
  26. A fantastic sports title that every Wii owner should try out. Sound and graphics aside, this game is one of the best sports titles ever released.
  27. An absolute corker of a golf game that will make owners of the Xbox and PS3 green with envy.
  28. In summary Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 features brilliant graphics with perfectly balanced controls, offers excellent value and most importantly is fantastically fun and addictive.
  29. EA deserves a ton of credit for delivering not only the best golf game ever (on any console,) but a definitive Wii experience to be placed alongside the best first-party titles on the console.
  30. I honestly never thought I'd see the day where I would recommend a game on the Wii above its Hi-Def console counterparts, but it's genuinely here.
  31. EA show us that they are one of Wii’s greatest advocates. Tiger Woods 10 provides a sublime genre-defining experience. Just make sure you have MotionPlus!

Good game, not amazing, because a few things really let it down. Controls are great, but there have been some big advancements in the graphicsGood game, not amazing, because a few things really let it down. Controls are great, but there have been some big advancements in the graphics for the courses. Water effects are much improved, as are some of the dodgy textures. Some of the jaggies here and there are awful though. The player models in particular are quite shocking.

Some major issues that need to be improved, before I will consider buying another one of these, or recommending it to people, esp casuals:

    1. Older courses are still hideous. They need a facelift to match the new ones.
    2. In multiplayer, you need the option to create and save multiple characters, so that when you have friends around they can play as themselves, with their own animations, with generic stats, all around the 80% mark etc. At the moment, you can only play as one of four saved profiles, or the real life players that come with the game, which my friends have found a bit lame. In two seperate cases it has stopped people I know buying the game. Can't believe they put in the useless 'golf party' and haven't done this yet.
    3. PAL versions do not run in 480P!!!! I was shocked to discover this. Why not?! this is pure laziness from EA, and extremely irritating.

Wanted to give this game more, but like I said, some things just really let it down.
